The Fall Bride

We are so excited to announce that NEWHITE is now available in London!

We asked Annelise, founder of contemporary boutique The Fall Bride in East London a few questions about “the cool new bridal destination to know.”

How long have you been open and what was your inspiration behind opening your bridal shop?

We opened in January 2020 (great timing, right!) in response to the lack of contemporary bridal wear in a city as cosmopolitan as London. More…

Bluebell Bridal

We asked Julie, founder of Bluebell Bridal in Melbourne, Australia, a few questions about her beautiful shop:

How long have you been open and what is the overall vibe of your bridal shop?

We opened back in 2012! Bluebell Bridal is commonly referred to as the “cool girl” salon for modern brides. Our salon houses carefully curated collections from small, fashion forward design houses who offer modern alternatives to the traditional bridal look. More…

JESS + RYAN

11.12.20

Like many couples getting married during this time, Jess and Ryan opted for a small, intimate ceremony. They had about 24 people in attendance, and the goal was elegance and simplicity.

The couple chose to have only their siblings in the bridal party, which was simply perfect. Jess and Ryan truly loved having a small gathering. It made the day much more personal and felt they could really enjoy the day. More…

Rituals of Love

We are beyond excited to announce NEWHITE will now be available in Vancouver! We asked Sam, founder of the boutique, a few questions about her dreamy shop:

“We opened in September of 2016. I wanted to create an experience, a memory, a beautiful ritual in finding a wedding gown. My goal was to curate a collection of unique, sophisticated, and romantically handcrafted pieces that brides can freely move and dance in.”  More…

EMILY + JORDAN

2.28.20

Emily and Jordan wanted their day to feel like a party, and less like a traditional wedding. Choosing a lakeside piece of land in New Zealand, close to where their families are from, meant they got to share a little piece of home with guests travelling from all over the world.

Emily and Jordan wanted guests to be surprised and delighted, so they chose a wild native bush path for the ceremony, leading guests in on a 10 minute hike in where they gathered around the couple in a circle “forest chapel.” More…

SoYoo Bridal

SoYoo Bridal opened in 2007. While owner Kate was preparing for her own wedding a few years prior, she had trouble finding her dress. At that time, most wedding gowns were from domestic designers in Korea.

While studying at FIT in New York, she saw so many other amazing designers. Kate simply thought it would be great to introduce Korean brides to these beautiful designs. This was the beginning of SoYoo Bridal. More…

BAILEY + SPENCER

10.24.20

Like many other couples, Bailey and Spencer’s plans changed because of COVID. But rather than postpone, they actually moved their date up!

They originally planned to host an intimate destination wedding in July 2021 in Positano, Italy. With all of the uncertainty, the last thing Bailey and Spencer wanted was to constantly stress about lockdowns in various countries and wonder when it would be safe to travel.

So in a matter of 3 months, the couple planned a new wedding in Santa Barbara, California – the city where they met and went to college – back to the place where it all started. More…

Loversland is not just a bridal shop. Co-owners Danielle and Yvonne had a unique idea in mind when they opened the shop in 2014:

JOCELYN + JOHN-ELLIOT

8.29.20

Jocelyn and John-Elliot planned to have a small 60 person wedding with family and close friends in Tulum, in the fall of 2020. Just as they were about to put the deposit down in March, Canada went into lockdown.

A few months went by, yet Covid regulations still left everything uncertain. By July, the couple made the decision to have an intimate ceremony with just 12 family members on a small, remote island. More…

CEILIDH + SHUN

8.4.19

Ceilidh and Shun were married at Hatley Castle in Victoria, BC. Since the venue was so grand, the couple wanted the decor to feel organic & casual, with outdoor seating and simple green floral arrangements.

They hand made tassels for lanterns and gave out wooden fans to add Japanese touches to the decor. The castle was Scottish, bringing in both of their cultures.   More…
