We asked Kate, the owner of SoYoo Bridal, a few questions about her beautiful boutique:
How long have you been open and what was your inspiration behind opening your bridal shop?
I opened SoYoo Bridal in 2007. While preparing for my own wedding a few years prior, I had trouble finding my dress. At that time, most wedding gowns were from domestic designers in Korea. While studying at FIT in New York, I saw so many other amazing designers. I simply thought it would be great to introduce Korean brides to these beautiful designs. This was the beginning of SoYoo Bridal.
What feedback do you get from brides when they try on NEWHITE? Why do they seem to choose our gowns?
NEWHITE is especially loved by brides who seek a modern look. The aesthetic of the line is simple yet stylish, and the structural design is very appealing to our Korean brides.
Best piece of advice for brides beginning their shopping experience?
Be realistic. Considering your pros and cons, it is always best to go with a gown that feels most like you. Choose the dress which will best fit the day, the venue, and most importantly, your personality.
